TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
